The heat is on! What do you bring as a dessert for a dinner or BBQ? This is the solution. With just 3 ingredients the lemon posset 🍋 is an absolute winner. And the lemony tang is super refreshing. Let me know what you think!
Yay, it’s apple season again and we have lots of apples to pick from our garden. The kids have been climbing up the trees to get the best ones! And now we need recipes to use them all and not only make apple sauce! but also check out the apple crumble.
Last year we were lucky to have some vacation in October. It was really wonderful to prolong the summer days and the weather in southern Italy was just beautiful! The Italian food is always so delicious and the sun-kissed veggies are a blessing. I was inspired by a simple yet delicious new combination of eggplants with Tuna. For it was just delicious!
The sun is making its way out more and more, making at least me wanting to eat nice and light things, leaving the heavier winter dishes behind. I really like this new find and wanted to share with you!
Tiramisu: It’s Italian and stands for ‚pull me up‘. It’s one of the most common and classic desserts in the world. And if prepared properly, probably one of my favorite desserts. It’s actually fairly easy to make, with a little amount of ingredients, but you need a moment of time to prepare and it needs to be stored in the fridge. The trick is to get the ideal ‘whisk’ of the cream. I personally like tiramisu if it’s more creamy, if you prefer the cakey-coffee taste, just reduce the amount of cream mix you put on each layer. See how to prepare here:
Friends (and myself) love onions and what better can you bring along to a BBQ than an appetizer that’s right down their alley? So that is exactly what I did and it was great. Again quite simple to prepare, so a winner!
The name already reveals what the cake will be and that it must be a delight! At least if you like Stracciatella ice cream. We love this cake and it’s ideal for every day or for a birthday party garnished with smarties or sprinkles!
Muffins are just always convenient. Kids birthday party? Muffins. Need a snack? Muffins. And what I really like is, that you can just prepare the base and easily toss anything you crave inside the dough, varying from just plain, chocolate chips or raspberries. Here is the delicious and quick base dough:
