Yummy scrummy and sooo easy! Apple Crumble is just one of the best desserts in the world. You only need a few ingredients and you are ready. We had quite some BBQ dinners lately and if you want to pre-prepare a little something sweet for afterwards, this is ideal. You can just toss it in the oven, once all the BBQ veggies from the oven for dinner are ready…plus this dessert just walks me down memory lane once again…
See how to prepare here:
Ingredients
3-4 apples
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
Raisins and almonds to taste
For the Crumble:
200g butter
120g sugar
200g flour
3 tablespoons plain oats
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 200°C air circulation.
Peel the apples and cut into bite-sized pieces. Mix with the 2 tablespoons sugar, cinnamon and raisins / almonds (if wanted) and place into a casserole.
Mix together butter, sugar, flour and oats until you have a crumbly consistency.
Now crumble on top of the apple mix in larger chunks.
Put in the oven for 20-30 minutes, until the crumble is golden brown.
Serve plain or with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream!
