You just have to try this. I think it is my favorite cake. And it is the best lemon cake, at least the best lemon cake I have ever tasted! Enjoy!!

150g brown sugar (muscovado)
grated lemon peel of 1 lemon
3 table spoons of fresh lemon juice
75g caster sugar
Heat the sugar and butter together and let cool. Then you add the flour and rest of the ingredients. Pour into a lined baking tin and cook for 30 minutes at 180°C.
While the cake is in the oven, prepare the pour over by mixing the fresh lemon juice and the sugar together. Take out the cake from the oven and pour over the pour over! Little tip on the side: best is to poke a few holes with a wooden skewer so that the poor over can better sink into the cake. Serve the cake plain or with whipped cream.
