Christmas will be here in a flash. I know, a surprise every year round! And as I just love baking Christmas Cookies. Next to the ones, that I bake every year, here is the next addition to the compilation! Easy Vanilla Snowflake Cookies.

Here is what you need to prepare:

Ingredients
250 butter, softened
100g confectioners sugar
Pinch of salt
250g corn starch
seeds of 1/2 a vanilla
150g flour

For after they come from the oven:
100g confectioners sugar to dust

Directions
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients above together. Then roll the dough into approx. 3 cm high «sausages». Continue until all of the dough is used up (approx. 3 rolls).

Cover the «dough sausages» with cling film and place in the fridge for an hour, until they are firm. Preheat the oven to 160° C (top and bottom heat).

Remove the dough from the fridge, cut the dough into small slices and roll little balls and place on a parchment-paper-lined baking tray.

When ready, use a fork to squish the balls slightly. Then place in the oven for 15 minutes, they should stay quite light.

Leave to cool and then dust with the confectioners sugar. Enjoy!
