Ingredients for approx. 30 cookies

250g flour
200g butter
100g sugar
1 egg yolk
Raspberry jam

Pre-heat the oven to 175°C (oven set to air circulation).
Combine all ingredients except for the raspberry jam in a bowl and mix together.
Spread the dough with a rolling pin. Make sure you spread a little flour underneath so the dough does not stick. Use a heart shaped cookie cutter to cut out the hearts. Put a little raspberry jam on to the dough-hearts, then top with another heart slice (so you need as many heart “bottoms” as “tops”).
Press the sides softly with a fork and shape a little cross-stitch with the tip of a sharp knife in the middle.
Bake in the oven for approx. 10 minutes.
And tadaa, you have a wonderful gift and are prepared for Valentine’s day with something homemade with love.

If your baking skills are not that good or you’re in a hurry, just buy a pie crust!
