This is pure delight and worth every calorie it has!! And the biggest plus about it? It’s super simple to make! Just mix together all the ingredients and pour into the baking tin. And that was it! Did I promise too much? Give it a try!

See how to prepare here:

For the crust:
2 packs of puff pastry

For the filling:
400g crème fraiche
400g sour cream
400g fluid whipping cream
8g vanilla sugar (one sachet)
1 pack of vanilla pudding powder
100g sugar
2 teaspoons cinnamon
3 eggs

For decoration:
3 (or more) fresh figs
A little fluid honey

Heat the oven to 160°C air circulation.

For the crust:
Lay out the two puff pastry dough in a round baking tin above each other. They need to form a rim around the side, so you can pour in the filling. I used the parchment paper that the puff pastry was bought in.

For the filling:
Whisk together all ingredients above and pour into the prepared crust in the baking tin.

Leave in the oven for approx. 60-70 minutes, until the filling is still a little wobbly, but not fluid any more (otherwise leave in the oven for another few minutes – and if the top is getting too dark, just put a bit of tin foil on top).
Let cool completely inside the baking tin.

Cut the figs into slices and decorate just before serving and drizzle a little honey on top.
