I just A D O R E a great Carbonara sauce. I know, I know, you are thinking – it’s sooo many calories. But you know what, I prefer taking a few more steps instead of using an elevator or take an additional walk, just to compensate those bad little calories…! You should try yourself!

Ingredients for 4
For the sauce:
300g bacon bits
1 onion, chopped
250ml liquid cream
2 eggs
1 egg yolk
Salt & pepper

Additional ingredients:
400-500g pasta
Parmesan cheese, grated

Prepare the pasta according to the pack.
Meanwhile fry the bacon and chopped onion in a pan. In a separate bowl, combine the eggs, yolk and cream. You can salt & pepper to taste, but remember the bacon is quite salty. Add the cream mix to the bacon and let warm. Serve on top of the pasta. Sprinkle a few fresh chives on top for garnish. Place the grated parmesan on the table so everone can help themselves. And you are ready!
