Sometimes I just want a little something extra next to a salad. These little squares are ideal for that craving. Quite simple to prepare and they taste warm and cold (even though I prefer warm)! Give them a try!
See how to make here:
Ingredients
1 pack of puff pastry
2 goat cream cheese
2 dates
Fresh thyme leaves
A bit of fluid honey
Directions
Pre-heat the oven according to the pack of the puff pastry.
Prepare little squares from the puff pastry.
Add a heap of goat cheese, so it is divided up evenly on all squares, place a small bit of a date to the cheese heap, sprinkle fresh thyme leaves on top and add a little honey.
Fold the squares with all four sides coming together in the middle and punch together tightly (otherwise they open slightly, just like it happened to mine).
Place in the oven for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Serve with a green salad of just as a snack!
