Since a few weeks I have been craving to make these and now I have finally gotten round to prepare them. Actually easy to make, but just didn’t find the time! I just adore them, with their gooiness and the chocolate, especially when still slightly warm…
See the easy recipe here:
Ingredients (approx. 36 cookies)
150g butter, melted
150g white sugar
100g brown sugar (I used muscovado sugar)
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pinch of salt
2 eggs
250g flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
160g dark (or white) chocolate
Directions
Pre-heat the oven to 160°C (oven set to air circulation).
Melt the butter and let cool shortly.
In a bowl mix together butter, both sugars, then add eggs, vanilla and salt. It will be fairly sticky, then add flour and baking powder to the mix.
Chop the chocolate into chunks and add to the dough.
Now use a spoon to make small heaps of dough onto lined baking tray – leave enough space in between each heap, as the cookies will spread out.
Bake for 10 minutes and then let them cool.
Enjoy!
