This is a great muffin recipe, you don’t even need a kitchen machine to prepare. The ingredients just need to be mixed together shortly and you are ready. And the best thing is, they are quickly prepared!

See what you need here:

Ingredients

100g Butter, melted

250ml milk

2 eggs

180g sugar

1 pinch of salt

1/2 Teaspoon baking powder

1 Teaspoon baking soda

60g unsweetened cocoa powder

300g flour

120g milk chocolate, slightly chopped

Directions

Heat the oven to 150°C air circulation.

Melt the butter (in a microwave or pot). Mix together the fluid ingredients – so milk, eggs and melted butter. Add the other ingredients – sugar, salt, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder and flour – so you have a nice dough.

Slightly chop the milk chocolate and mix 3/4 of it into the dough. Keep the rest for later to place on top of the cupcakes once out of the oven.

In a cupcake tray, prepare little cupcake liners (or directly into the cupcake tray that you buttered upfront) and pour in the dough.

Place the cupcakes into the oven for 10-15 minutes – depending on the size of the cupcakes you are preparing. Use a wooden skewer to check if the cupcakes are ready – if still doughy, leave in for another bit, if the skewer is nearly dry, they are ready. Remove from the oven and directly sprinkle the rest of the chopped milk chocolate on top and decorate if you like with smarties or other sprinkles.
