Delicious, sweet and very quick to make. I first got introduced to this delightfulness at our American friends who lived in England at the same time as we did! We used to bake from time to time when we were there and I always loved it. And this recipe is cool, as you don’t even need an oven, as the title already suggests.

Here is what you need:


Lynn’s recipe

1.5-2 cups sugar (300-400g)

1/2 cup milk (125g)

1/3 cup non-sweetened cocoa (35g)

1/4 cup butter (55g)

1/2 cup peanut butter (= 2 heaped tablespoons)

3 cups oatmeal (250g)

1 teaspoon vanilla


In a pot bring the sugar, milk, cocoa and butter to boil. Then just add the oatmeal, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix together and use a spoon to make little heaps on a lined baking tray.

Let dry (ideally cool in the fridge or on the balcony in colder weather) for 25 minutes and you are ready. Enjoy!
