I can’t believe I haven’t been preparing this so much earlier. One of the most simple yet delicious appetizers that are prepared in no time! You only need a square sheet of puff pastry and a spread of your choice (I happened to have Funghi Porcini & truffles spread in the house). And you are just about done. Will definitely repeat with a artichoke spread or just a pesto with cheese sprinkled on top…

This is how you do it:

Ingredients
1 square puff pastry
3-4 teaspoons of spread of your choice (funghi porcini & truffles, artichoke, Pesto Rosso, Pesto Genovese, olives, etc.)

Directions
Preheat the oven according to the pack of the puff pastry.

Spread parchment paper on a baking tray, spread/unroll the puff pastry. Now spread the spread of your choice on top evenly (not too thick!).

Carefully roll up the puff pastry like a snail.

Now evenly cut 1/2cm sized slices and place on the parchment paper.

Place in the oven according to the directions of the puff pastry pack (mine was approx. 15-20 minutes). Remove from the oven when golden brown, let cool off slightly and offer to your guests (or enjoy yourself)! Tada!
