Loving this typical Italian caprese salad, this time I prepared it with a little twist: With artichoke hearts for the “green” instead of the typical basil leaves. Once again super simple, easy and fast to prepare and just delicious. Definitely worth a try, especially if you like archtichoke hearts as much as I do!!

See how to prepare:

1 pack cherry tomatoes
1 pack mozzarella balls
1 can of artichoke hearts (in their own juice, not in oil)
Fresh basil leaves (optional)
Olive oil
Balsamic vinegar (optional)
Salt & pepper

Wash and pat dry the tomatoes. Remove mozzarella from pack and drain the water. Also drain the artichoke hearts. Mix together with the tomatoes, decorate with the basil leaves (optional), drizzle olive oil and balsamic vinegar (optional) on top and season with salt & pepper to taste.
Serve immediately. Enjoy!
