Sometimes in summer, we like to have little picknicks or have a meal outside, that you can easily bring along. This was always a snack our mother would make for us and we all loved it. And we really like the pita bread that was just the little bit different than normal bread.
See what you need to prepare here:
2 cans of tuna in water
1 can of sweet corn
1 spring onion
200g cream cheese
Salt & pepper
A few lettuce hearts
6 Pita bread slices
Drain the tuna and sweet corn cans. Wash and finely cut the spring onion. Mix together in a bowl together with the cream cheese and mayonnaise and season with salt and pepper to taste
Wash and dry the lettuce hearts and keep the larger leaves. Meanwhile toast the Pita bread and then fill them with lettuce and the tuna salad. Enjoy!
