Oh I love the autumn season, with all the leaves coloring and the pumpkins everywhere! And the light is so beautiful, when the low shining sunrays shine through the trees. So of course I needed to try out a new recipe with pumpkins included, this time not sweet, but salty in combination. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did. We served to a piece of meat as a side, but also ideal to just eat with a piece of baguette.

One of my favorite recipes during the autumn season is this easy Quark & Plum dessert. I love the sweetness of the plums and the beautiful color in combination with the slightly cinnamon-spiced Quark. One of my absolute favorite vegetarian dishes. Ideal as a side dish for a BBQ meat or as a starter. Both works perefectly well. Simple to make and due to the fact, that Halloumi has such a long shelf-life, you can have a pack in the fridge for any unexpected guests! And you can leave out the coriander, if you should not be a fan (or if you don’t have any at home). The first time I made this was with my mom and we instantly fell in love with this recipe!

Super easy and really quick to make! And figs are always so beautiful to combine with their red-dotty pulp! The first time I prepared this tart, I used too little sugar, so I added a second tablespoon and that should give it a perfect sweetness!

Of course salads and grilled veggies are always great, these cheese-filled mushrooms are a perfect addition to the set of possibilities. I got to know them through my mother.
